Todd Stroger: Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Todd Stroger is pissing off a lot people lately. Why? Cuz he can, that's why, and what Todd wants, Todd gets. Well, he's got a lot criticism now, too. But nobody can say he didn't ask for it, by way of his draconian budget proposals. Oh, and that whole cheap imitation of a royal prince thing. Oh, and that whole private elevator thing. Oh yes, and lately, missing meeting after meeting after meeting after hearing after... Oy. South side blogger "Third Generation Chicago Native" has a good piece today entitled - well, it doesn't actually have a title, but it's a great read, including the list of Stroger's patronage hires.
