The "Climategate" Scandal and Resistance to Truth

As world leaders prepare to meet in Denmark next month to discuss the implementation of the Copenhagen Protocol (the continuation of the Kyoto Protocol designed to cap carbon emissions in industrialized nations) one topic certain to be the buzz amongst attendees—at least unofficially—will be the growing “Climategate” scandal that currently rocking the United Kingdom. - Robert Romano, GetLiberty.org This is not just another repeat of telling you that everything Al Gore has been saying about global warming is a pack of lies. This is new information. The proof is in a barrel of emails accessed by a hacker last week. The emails have been certified as authentic, and they show that global warming (or do you say "climate change?") researchers have been doping the data for years. It's all a big fraud. The UK Telegraph reports that “Around 1,000 emails and 3,000 documents were stolen from UEA computers by hackers last week and uploaded on to a Russian server before circulating on websites run by climate change sceptics. Some of the correspondence indicates that the manipulation of data was widespread among global warming researchers.” Romano notes that the hackers posted an anonymous note with the hacked emails: “We feel that climate science is too important to be kept under wraps. We hereby release a random selection of correspondence, code, and documents. Hopefully it will give some insight into the science and the people behind it.” NOTE TO LIBERALS: Before you start whining about the ethics of publishing hacked "private" emails, it should be remembered that the New York Times and other papers had no problem publishing emails pilfered from Sarah Palin's computer by hackers. The frothy-mouthed, drooly orgasm that you had while reading those stolen emails was just fine with you, wasn't it? When leaked national security documents are published by the New York Times, the leaker is a "whistleblower" and a hero to you, right? Ah, but when evidence (proof, really) of one of the biggest frauds ever perpetrated on the world is exposed, the whistleblowers are dismissed as "just hackers" and as "unethical." Deal with it. Regardless of the ethics of the hackers, the fact remains that the climate researchers were lying by falsifying data, creating hysteria and fear where there should have been none, causing children to go to bed at night worried about the oceans boiling, and so on. The lying researchers are the real story, not the hackers. Try to stay focused on the real issue, and accept that you've been suckered. The truth shall set you free. The perpetrators of this global fraud, and the suckers who have bought into it, will continue to deny the exposure of the lie. Chris Mooney, a sycophantic global warming fool, wrote this pitiful denial piece at Discover Magazine today: Those of us who think this is all smoke and no fire are starting from the following position: There is a massive body of science, tested and retested and ratified by many leading scientific bodies, showing that global warming is real and human caused. So then we pose the following question: What would it take for “ClimateGate” to significantly weaken this body of evidence in a serious way? ....I don’t see how anything about “ClimateGate” changes this big picture significantly–and again, that’s even if we assume the worst about what the emails reveal. Mooney is beyond help, apparently. He does not seem to understand that the "massive body of science, tested and retested" is not good science. It is falsified, and it's a real problem when "authoritative" publications such as Discover Magazine cannot see through the smoke screen thrown up by the researchers who have given us fake data for years. That smoke has been blown away by the hackers, yet Chris Mooney, Discover Magazine and others like them refuse to accept what is now clearly visible. They have staked so much of their reputations on a massive lie that their vision has become impaired. They are blind to, and resistant to, the truth, as are millions of people around the world. It will take years for the revelations of "Climategate" to be fully heard, let alone fully understood and, finally, accepted by a public that has been steeped in lies for so long by so many "respected" scientists and gullible politicians. Examiner.com wrote, on Nov. 20, that "Britain’s Climate Research Unit, University of East Anglia, suffered a data breach in recent days when a hacker apparently broke into their system and made away with thousands of emails and documents. The stolen data was then posted to a Russian server and has quickly made the rounds among climate skeptics. The documents within the archive, if proven to be authentic, would at best be embarrassing for many prominent climate researchers and at worst, damning." Damning, indeed. Pay close attention to the developing "Climategate" story. It is huge, and will have far-reaching effects. There is talk of suing NASA for participating in the fraud (see link below). Many people are already talking about dumping "green" stocks in companies that have built themselves on the false foundation of global warming. Whole text books need to be rewritten. Meanwhile, Al Gore is in Chicago today (Nov. 24) to sign copies of his latest global warming book of lies and untruths. I'm told by somebody who was at the Borders books at 150 N. State Street for Gore's noon signing that the crowd was "surprisingly small." Perhaps that's a sign of hope.
