It was supposed to be a big festival in Loyola Park along the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.
It turned out to be a flop, with perhaps 40 people in the audience, many of who were with the bands. The event started at 12:00 p.m. and ended at 4:00 p.m.
Alderman Moore did not show up until after 1:00 p.m. Poorly publicized, the event was held at Loyola Park, where it has not been before.
The powers that be denied the event permission to be held at Touhy Park. It is said that the event will be back at Gale Park next year.
