Trilogy Block Party, Aug. 18

Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare will stage a block party on Saturday, August 18, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event, to benefit the non-profit facility, will be on Estes Avenue between Glenwood and Greenview. A number of local musicians will perform, including folk singer guitarist Kristin Ronne of the Sheathens. Kristin will take the stage for an hour starting at 3:00 p.m. Kristin often performs in Rogers Park, and I've had the pleasure of hearing her perform live on a number of occasions. Her voice and original songs are beautiful and should not be missed. (You can sample Kristin's music here.) "Trilogy is a private, not-for-profit community behavioral health agency whose mission is to serve people with serious mental illnesses. Trilogy has provided services in the Rogers Park and Evanston communities since 1971." For more information about Trilogy, please click here. For info about the block party, contact Ruth McMahon at 773-508-6100.
