TONIGHT: Mundt on Lunt

Martin Mundt is nuts. He's the kind of guy who wears a NASA hat while holding a comic book. (See the photo?) But, as an adult, you can't get enough of him - and his bizarrely twisted humor. This guy Mundt is one strange dude. He's funny as hell, in the same dark way that watching the bottom of a grocery bag give out is funny. You can't help but laugh. The first time I saw Martin Mundt was several months ago at Ennui Cafe in Rogers Park, Chicago. He looks like that customer service guy we've all met, the guy with a boa constrictor in his top dresser drawer, the guy who walks alone along a dark street at 3:00 in the morning just to be alone. But Martin Mundt is funny, hysterically funny. He will be at Ennui Cafe in Rogers Park tonight. Caution: Wear extra underpants; you will laugh that hard.
