DePaul Gets Ugly. Real Ugly.

There are ugly things being said at DePaul, the Chicago college near the Fullerton CTA station that has had it share of scandal and strife in recent years. A friend of mine, "P," is a prof down there. "I don't know what the f*#% is in the water at DePaul," he said to me several weeks ago, "but every single professor there is a f*#%ing criminal." "Every single one?" I asked. "Well, except for he," he laughed. The racially and ethnically tainted business at DePaul is not funny. A quiet firestorm that's been brewing for some time has gotten surprisingly little coverage from the MSM. Friend of the blog John Ruberry at Marathon Pundit has been faithfully covering this for some time, and I've enjoyed reading his posts. Time to start sharing it with my readers. All of Chicago should know about this intriguing and disturbing story. Here is an excerpt from John's blog: Last week was a bad one at DePaul. As news reports today are dominated by another "Perfect Storm" clobbering New England, the Chicago Catholic college faces its own metaphorical one: The Thomas Klocek case, barring a settlement, is heading to trial, and DePaul's resident holocaust-minimizer, Norman G. Finkelstein, continues to fight for tenure at the school's Liberal Arts and Sciences department. Finkelstein and Klocek are separate stories, but the urge not to tie them together is difficult: Finkelstein, a son of Holocaust survivors, minimizes the extent of the Shoah, and views Holocaust revelations as a racket to enrich Jews. There we go again, Jews and money. FULL STORY with links...
